Yeah, its all about me publishing books in German since, well, since 1987, with a good history on up and downs about cooperation with different publishers.
Sorry, until now I could not find a foreign publisher for my Paragliding books! That does notmean they aren`t good enough. In the contrary, they sell very well, as they already have 3rd and 4th editions.
But it shows how poor the Paragliding press is represented in the English speaking “Free Flying World” with no editor interested in it or having enough financial background to print an English version of them!
So, not just the glider homologation goes Germany via the rest, although about PG Infos…what a shame!

So far, my books have been Paragliding Guide books.

The titles would be in correct English like
“Best Flying Sites around the Mediteranian Sea” and “Best Flying Sites across the Alps”, both with profoundly detailed information and map .
Ok, there is hope and we are praying!

Another project, directed to a far bigger audience, will be “Augenblicke oben”, (let us call it “Moments in the Sky”), to come out by the end of 2005. This is a story book with much to read about adventures and more of people like Mike Kueng, Will Gadd, Angelo d’Arrigo and myself, stories far beyond the superficial appearance of Paragliding as a mere “Funsport”!
